AWF Kick-Starts 2019 Literary Calendar with Guest Writer Session

The Abuja Writers Forum (AWF), kick-starts its 2019 literary calendar with the Guest Writer Session on January 25, featuring   Georgina Ehuriah,  Japheth Prosper and Achissan Agoh.
The event  which is open to the public and holds at the Aso Hall of Nanet Suites from 4pm to 7pm  - incorporates readings, Q and A Session, live music and a raffle-draw for books.
Georgina Ekeoma Ehuriah (MON) who is the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Mines and Steel Development, will feature on the “Take Five” segment, and talk about five books that have impacted her life.
A barrister –at- law, Mrs Ehuriah also has a degree in English Literature (University of Nigeria, Nsukka), a Masters in Public Administration (University of Lagos) and a Diploma in French (Universitie de Benin).

She has been conferred with the Diamond Award by Uzuakoli Development Association, Ada Di Oha Nma title by UDA Women and Award of Excellence by Rotary Club, Maitama, Abuja Chapter. She is an active member of the Family Worship Centre Church in Abuja and the Aglow Women Fellowship.

Georgina

Japheth Prosper was born in the late seventies to an Ibo mother and an Idoma father and  hails from Ette, an Idoma community in Enugu  State .He began his writing career with the once popular  Lagos- based HINTS  soft sell magazine.
Currently resident in Abuja where he runs the Brain Makers Academy, Prosper describes writing as his “first love” and has published several stories inspired by real life experiences. Some of his stores and those of his wife – Ada, have been published through his publishing outfit, JAPH-WIZKID VENTURES
 He is also one of the editors of INTERNET WRITERS and his forthcoming book is THE WILDERNESS EXPREIENCE. He will be reading from his most recent novella, A FIGHT FOR NNEKA.
Japheth

Achissan Bitrus Agoh  will read  some of his poems from a work in progress . He hails from Southern Kaduna. 
Born in Kaduna of Takad  extraction , he has spent most of his life in Abuja where he did his primary and secondary education.
He is a registered Medical Laboratory Technician by profession and expresses his deep passions through poetry.
