King Emmanuel School: A date with Anchor University
King Emmanuel School had a date with Anchor University Ayobo on 8th of November. It was a very memorable occasion for the pupils and students who were taken round the campus to see the facilities the school has which include hostels, standard library, ICT Centre, sports arena, etc.
At each of these facilities, there were guides/educators who enlightened the children. The children were particularly fascinated with the Information and Communication Technology (I.C.T) centre. The officer in charge (name) told the children that the most important device on I.C.T is the computer. He drilled them and was amazed at their level of computer literacy.
At the Google classroom which according to him was designed for online research, participants were further enlightened on the various search engines on World Wide Web (w.w.w) one of which is Google.
The tour finally took them to the cafeteria where the students were treated to a sumptuous meal and given souvenirs before they left.
